The whole admission process will be completed via admission.duetbd.org portal. It is the official admission portal for DUET. To get a seat in DUET, you must pass the admission test. Applicants must have completed their HSC exam with a strong background in Science, specifically in subjects like Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The test typically covers subjects relevant to the engineering programs, including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

BSc in Engineering: The BSc in Engineering program at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET) is a highly regarded undergraduate program. Requirements for the Admission
You must fulfill all the requirements for the admission. If you meet the requirements then you will be eligible for the admission and you will be allowed to submit the online application through admission.duetbd.org. Take a look at the requirements-
- The applicant must be a citizen of Bangladesh.
- The candidate must pass SSC Exam from any educational board with minimum 50% marks or GPA-3.00 out of 5.00.
- The applicant must pass Diploma in Engineering/Architecture with minimum 40% marks or CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00.
- Students who have passed SSC Exam in 2022 or 2023 can apply.
- If any student wants to take part in the admission test of both program then he has to apply individually.
Quota Information: There is Freedom Fighter Quota and Tribal Quota available for DUET Admission. Please select your quota while applying.

If you are confirmed that you are eligible for the DUET Admission, you are welcome for the online application. But please remember that the online application is the first and very important part of the admission. If you make a single mistake in the admission form then it would be trouble for you.
Prepare your photo and sign by the actual size before you start the application. The photo size should be 250×250 pixel and the signature size should be 250×50 pixels. You also have to upload your birth registration scanned copy and quota document (if have any).
Start the application and follow the instructions-

- There, you will enter your information such as parents name, address and your academic information.
- Select Unit. You can apply for both units and take part in the admission test.
- Upload your photo, sign and birth registration scanned copy.
- Then submit the application form
Note: The application fee is- 1290/- taka. You can pay the fee through Bkash, Rocket, Nagad or any other mobile banking system.
Admit Card Download
DUET Admit Card can be downloaded from the admission portal- admission.duetbd.org. As a candidate, you must collect your admit card. You should know that no candidate will be allowed in the admission without the admit card. The admit card is a proof that you are a valid candidate.
The admit card contains several important information. It includes the candidate’s photo and sign. You must carry your admit card in the exam hall and show it to the hall visitor.
Each candidate will download their admit card from the admission portal. Well there is limited time for downloading the admit. So collect your admit card as soon as possible.
DUET Admission Result 2024
DUET Admission Result 2024 has been published. Congratulations to the students who have been selected in the DUET Result. The DUET Merit List is made according to the previous academic record and the admission test marks.
