mist.teletalk.com.bd- MIST admission 2024 has been started. The admission notice of Military Institution of Science and Technology is now here. The online application submission schedule is announced. There are two units in MIST- Unit A (Engineering and Architecture) Unit B (Architecture). There will be a short list for the written test among all the applicants. That means, not all the applicants can sit for the admission test.
The students will submit their online application through mist.teletalk.com.bd. Also the applicants will download their MIST Admit Card using the User ID and Password. There are several parts of the admission system. These are- online application, short eligible list for the written test, admit card, the admission test, admission result and the final admission. What is the fee for online application?
For your kind information there are separate fee for two units. Candidate who have applied for Unit-A will pay 1000 taka and the candidates who have applied for Unit-B will pay 1200 taka. Applicants will use Teletalk SIM to pay the application fee.
About MIST-
MIST is a government engineering and technological research institution which is under the Ministry of Defiance. It has four faculties and twelve departments to offer for undergraduate programs. The admission portal is mist.teletalk.com.bd. One candidate must pass the admission test to get a seat. The candidate must get at least 40% marks in the test.
Requirements for Admission
Well, there are criteria that the students have to fulfill to take part in the admission test. But still not all the applicants will be allowed to sit for the test. Two separate units have different requirements. Take a look at the requirements-
- The candidate has to pass the SSC Exam in 2021 or 2022. Minimum GPA- 4.00 is needed.
- The candidate has to pass the HSC Exam in 2023 or 2024. Minimum grade point 17 needed in four subjects (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English).
- The Candidate interested in Biomedical Engineering must have Biology at the HSC or Equivalent level. Minimum grade point of ‘A-‘/ GCE ‘A’ or Equivalent level with a minimum grade point of ‘C’.
Note: Candidates who are from GCE can apply for the MIST Admission.
Quota Information:
There are different types of quota available for the admission. These are- Freedom Fighter Quota, Military Ward, Ethnic Minority, Children of serving permanent employes of Defence and MIST.

- Select quota if you have any.
- Upload your photo and sign. It is better to prepare the photo and sign before you start the application.

Note: After you have submitted the application, you must pay the fee. You have to use Teletalk SIM for the payment.
MIST Eligible List
After the application timeline is ended, a short list has been published. It is known as the MIST Eligible List.
The MIST Written Test Short List has been published through the mist.teletalk.com.bd. There has been a PDF file for the eligible list. You can download the short list from the official website. Candidates who have been selected in the short list can take part in the admission test.

Admit Card Download
MIST Admit Card 2024 can be downloaded from the mist.teletalk.com.bd website. The admit card is the most crucial document needed to take part in the admission test.
If any candidate fails to show the admit card hard copy then his/her admission test will not be taken. So be careful in this matter. You must download the admit card PDF and then get a printed copy.
To get your admit card-
- Visit the admission website-mist.teletalk.com.bd for downloading the admit card.
- Click on the Admit Card Downloading option.
- Enter your User ID and Password and submit to get admit card.
Note: Make sure all the information mentioned in the admit card are correct. If you find any mistake then contact to the MIST authority.
MIST Admission Test Information
As I have mentioned earlier, one candidate must pass in the admission test. The test will be held for 200 marks. Take a look at the mark distribution-

How the merit list will be made?
For your kind information, there is no mark from SSC and HSC GPA. So the students who have GPA-5 will not get benefited in the admission. However, see how the merit list will be made-
- Total marks obtained in the written test- 60%
- Total marks obtained in Higher Math, Physics and Chemistry in HSC- 20%
- Total marks obtained in Higher Math, Physics and Chemistry in SSC- 20%

- Login there with the credentials
- After login, you will see the result option. Click on it.
- Then you will get to see your detailed result.
Note: The candidates who are in the waiting list have to wait for the further notice from the MIST authority.
