Chittagong University Admission 2024 has been started. All the activity of the CU Admission is completed through the website admission.cu.ac.bd portal. This is called the admission-related website for CU. As a candidate, you need to submit your online application through this website portal. Also the admit card download and seat plan is available from this admission-related website. 

The admission of Chittagong University is completed through an admission test. There are 6 units- A unit, B unit, B1 unit, C unit, D unit and D1 unit. One candidate can apply through admission.cu.ac.bd for multiple units and take part in the admission test. After you submit the application, you will get User ID and Password. You will use these credentials for downloading your admit card and see the seat plan later.

Requirements for the online application

CU authority allows the HSC-passed students to apply for the admission test. You will apply online through admission.cu.ac.bd. One candidate must pass in the admission test to get a seat in any department of CU. But you need to make sure that you meet all the criteria that are required by the authority. So you need to take a look at the requirements for each unit. 

The requirements are-

• A Unit – Minimum GPA in SSC-3.50 and HSC Exam- 4.00. Total GPA- 8.50 required.
• B and B1 Unit- Minimum GPA-3.00 in SSC and HSC Exam. Total GPA- 7.00 required. 
• C Unit- Minimum GPA-3.50 in SSC and HSC Exam. Total GPA- 8.00 required. 
• D Unit- Minimum GPA-3.50 in SSC and HSC Exam. Total GPA- 3.50 required. 
• D1 Unit- Minimum GPA-2.50 in SSC and HSC Exam. Total GPA- 6.00 required. 

Note: You can apply for multiple units for the CU admission. But for every unit you apply you have to pay the fee. 

Submit Application through admission.cu.ac.bd

When you make sure that you are eligible for the admission test then you can submit your online application. But before you start the application on admission.cu.ac.bd, please prepare all of your information and documents in front of you. Make sure you have scanner copy of your photo and sign before you start the application. 

To submit the online application-

• The admission website is- admission.cu.ac.bd. Click here to access the website and then follow the rest of the instructions. 
• Click for a new application. 
• You need to provide all of your information there including a valid phone number. This phone number will be used for the whole admission period. So use your own phone number. 
• Then select your unit
• Upload your previously prepared photo and sign.
• Then make the payment for your applied unit. You can use Bkash or Rocket for payment. 

Note: The application will be completed when the payment is received by the authority. Make sure there is no mistakes in the application. 

Download CU Admit Card

Each candidate has to download the admit card from admission.cu.ac.bd portal. Chittagong University Admit Card 2024 is now available to download. The applicants of each unit. The candidates who have applied for multiple units have to download admit card for each unit. 

Please remember that, no candidate will be allowed in the exam center without the admit card. The admit card contains Candidate’s Name, Admission Test Roll number, Photo and sign, Date and Time of the Examination, and also Instructions for the Exam. 

To collect your admit card- 

• You need to to to the admission portal for downloading your admit card. Go to admission.cu.ac.bd.
• There, login with your credentials such as Id and Password
• Then, click on the ‘Admit Card Download’ option 
• You will get the PDF file of the admit card

Note: You must get two print copies of the admit card. The instructions are written in the admit card, follow the instructions. 

Seat Plan

Chittagong University Seat plan is now available to download. Applicants have selected their exam center region while submitting the application. There are three region for the admission test of CU. Earlier, the admission test was only taken in the campus of Chittagong University. But now, the students don’t need to visit the Chittagong district to take part in the admission test. 

However, all the candidates can check out their CU Seat Plan from the admission portal of CU- admission.cu.ac.bd. There you have to login to see the detailed seat plan. You can see the exam center name, building name, and the room number. 

To check your CU Seat Plan-

• Please visit the admission website. There you need to login. 
• Click on ‘Login’ option and then select your unit name
• Then you will see the seat plan there

CU also publishes the seat plan through a PDF file. You need to download your region PDF file to see the seat plan.

CU Admission Result 2024

The Chittagong University Admission Result is the most important part of the admission system. The admission.cu.ac.bd results are published by the official announcement. CU authority has published PDF files for the results But you can also check your results individually by login into the website portal. 

The CU Admission Results for each unit are not published by the same date. Each unit admission results are published in different dates. However, all the results are available here to download. 

To check your result-

• Go to the CU Admission Result website- https://ictcell.cu.ac.bd/result/
• Select your unit name from there
• Download the result PDF from there

The CU Result Merit List and Waiting List is published from the CU authority. You will find your name in the list if you are successfully passed the admission test.
